In order to cooperate the develop requirement of warehousing business, bonded warehouse and general warehouse in our free trade zone, the container terminal facility was established in Taichung Port in September of 2015, and the license was issued by Port Bureau in October. Container Terminal and Warehousing Department were combined with the Logistics Department in 2016 since our business were expanded continuously. The overall planning of the Container Terminal covers an area of 100,506 m2, with the laden container capacity of 4,200 TEU, empty container capacity of 800 TEU. The specific plan of container depot : warehouse area is 16,332 m2, centralized inspection area is 1,519 m2, guard room and control station area are 80 m2, container repairing depot and maintenance factory are 939 m2, afforestation area is 14,786 m2, container area, parking lot and road area are 66,850 m2 . Provide a complete storage and transfer service for import and export cargos, the storage and transportation for laden container logistics, the service energy will provide enterprises with Taiwan as the center, and layout the value-added service for the import and export business development of containers and cargos on the global marketing channel network. It is also help to increase monthly import and export container volumes and overall operating volumes in Taichung Port.
